Major legacy system replacement project for Medical Assurance Society

About Our Client:
Medical Assurance Society (MAS) is a membership based society for healthcare professionals. MAS was set up in 1921 by a group of doctors who felt insurance companies were not meeting their needs. Today MAS offers insurance, loans, savings and deposits to 20,000 healthcare, dental and vetinary professionals. The business prides itself on the high level of customer service it provides to its members.

The Challenge:
In 2002 after completing the development of a new IT strategy and learning that the hardware support for the in-house insurance software was being withdrawn, MAS commenced the search for a replacement solution for their 18 year old legacy system. After a global search for a partner, Target Harlosh's InsuranceFaces solution was selected.

General Manager at the time for MAS commented:
"With over 20,000 members and more than 80 years experience, it was vital for us to ensure that we continued to provide outstanding service to our members. Target Harlosh worked closely with our internal team to design and implement a successful solution. Their consultative approach and project implementation skills led to a well planned and executed data migration for our legacy system to InsuraceFaces."

The Target Harlosh Solution:
The decision to replace their legacy system with InsuranceFaces was taken and implemented within 4 months.  To discover more, download the case study...
